The tremendous geographical error of a 'First Dates' single that leaves his date confused: ''Poland is not Europe''

Finding love continues to be a pending task for many people in all parts of the world. And although many choose to try their luck on the well-known dating apps, for some time now, First Dates has become the perfect place to find the ideal person. But appearing on Cuatro's program is not synonymous with success and viewers are more than accustomed to the peculiar outcomes of the program.

Two of the great stars of the night were Fran and Alicja. The 52-year-old bachelor arrived at the restaurant confessing to being vegan. He was dedicated to security and assured that despite being from Seville, he currently lived in Castellón. ''I'm a hippie, but then I have my share of order, cleanliness and gym every day,'' he declared. He wanted to meet a woman who was "just like him."

His date was going to be Alicja, a 49-year-old English teacher, who came from Poland, but currently lived in Torrevieja, Alicante. Her great hobbies were reading and traveling. The first impression of the singles was normal. And although Fran had not been disappointed with her, he did confess that her clothing could have been more similar to her style. ''She is more classic and I would have liked her to have come like me, sporty, comfortable,'' she declared.

A thought that contrasted with that of the single woman. ''More or less everything is fine, but I should have come better dressed,'' she said. Moments later, Laura Boado accompanies the couple to her table, where the evening began. There, the singles realized that they both had something in common: they did not eat meat.

Regarding the family, Fran said that she had two children and Alicja that she had one who lived in Poland, although she was about to move. ''Poland is not a good country to live in,'' she explained. ''Of course Poland is not Europe yet,'' said the bachelor. ''Yes, of course it is a European country,'' she responded. ''Many people continue to ask me but not only in Europe, but in Latin America or Asia. "I'm used to people not knowing where Poland is," he added.

Likewise, the single woman confessed that her husband had died last March, and although it had been a hard blow for her, Alicja was willing to move forward and continue with her life. ''It's very strong. I have seen her happy, she wants to turn the page,' commented the bachelor.

The date progressed and the singles continued to learn about different aspects of their past lives. ''She is a very interesting woman with a lot of independent and cultured life,'' he confessed. But discrepancies between the bachelors were beginning to emerge and the bachelorette was very aware of it. ''I have a lot of energy and I would like to enjoy an active life with another type of man,'' she asserted.

In the final stretch of dinner, diners commented on their ways of dressing. Fran explained that for several years she had only dressed in dark clothing. ''In Spain that is not possible, I couldn't,'' she replied, who also claimed that heels were her downfall. ''I like tracksuits, but for being at home,'' she added. In the final decision, Fran confessed that he was willing to have a second meeting, but Alicja rejected him because "she was looking for a man who was not afraid of living and who had other types of clothes."
