The name of the new presenter of 'Socialité' revealed after the dismissal of María Patiño

The television scene in Spain has taken a radical turn with the announcement of the end of the relationship between Mediaset España and La Fábrica de la Tele. This outcome, which puts an end to one of the most influential collaborations in the Spanish audiovisual sector, has been confirmed after a period of rumors and uncertainty.

The impact of this separation is reflected in the imminent changes within Telecinco, especially with the departure of María Patiño from Socialité. The presenter, who has been the face of the program since she was born, has confirmed that she has been fired: "At lightning speed my dismissal as presenter of Socialité has been published." Nuria Marín, who has also taken charge of the program, has also been dismissed.

Despite this important loss, the program will continue to be broadcast on the same network as she herself has assured: "It is a pride that the network continues to bet on the format and the team. I never considered it a small program and it is clear that it is not "It was, nor will it be."

The presenter vacancy has not been free for too long. The person in charge of presenting Socialité in this new stage, as reported by the AlgopasaTV portal, will be María Verdoy, one of the network's best-known faces during the weekends. "María Verdoy joins 'Socialité' as a presenter in the new stage of the format," says the portal. The Valencian will arrive in January, when Patiño and Marín's contracts expire.

The new presenter of Socialité is a journalist with an impressive career in the field of Spanish television. Thus Verdoy has been climbing positions from the beginning to become a prominent figure in Mediaset, especially on Saturdays and Sundays.

Graduated in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from the University of Valencia, Verdoy began her career in radio, and then started in television. Her rise to fame came in 2013, when she joined the Cazamariposas team as a reporter. She has also participated in It's Already Midday, but is best known for appearing in Viva la Vida and its successor Fiesta.

In the summer of 2023, Verdoy took on her first major hosting role by hosting Fiesta de Verano, a summer version of the show Fiesta. In this project, she worked alongside Frank Blanco, replacing Emma García during her vacation. Additionally, she has presented Rediséñame, which has aired on Divinity.
