"When he left the meeting, I felt like I had found the right actor," Zwick confessed in a small excerpt from his memoirs published by Vanity Fair.
But the enthusiasm for playing this character disappeared with the first script reading. And the actor felt so uncomfortable that he even confessed his desire to give up the role. "He seems calm at first, but he can be very volatile when he gets angry," he declared. After this small unforeseen event, filming began, which was marked by a long list of problems, such as the rains or Brad's attitude. Pitt: ''Brad got nervous every time he was about to film a scene that required deep emotion,'' he stated.
