The condition of Alessandro Lequio to Ana Obregón about his granddaughter Ana Sandra

Ana Obregón is in Miami enjoying the first days of life of little Ana Sandra, her legal daughter and biological granddaughter, who has been conceived through surrogacy from the sperm of Aless Lequio, the presenter's deceased son.

As reported by the journalist Marisa Martín-Blázquez on the Fiesta program, Alessandro Lequio, the baby's grandfather, would have imposed a condition on Ana Obregón: little Ana Sandra cannot bear the Lequio surname, so she should be called Ana Sandra Obregon. "For the last name, I should have asked Lequio for permission and I understand that she has not given her approval," the journalist explained.

In addition, the collaborator of the afternoon magazine recalled again that Lequio does not agree that Obregón has fulfilled the last will of his son. In this sense, it is something that the count himself has hinted at on more than one occasion in which he has positioned himself against surrogacy.

In fact, the Italian, before leaving for Galicia to disconnect with his family, made it clear that he was not going to comment on this issue: "With all the personal affection and the utmost professional respect, I hope you understand that I am not going to say anything about this issue. nothing. Not now or ever. I have expressed my opinion on surrogacy on several occasions, but today it would be understood in only one sense and it is absurd. That's how I'm going to stay".

Obregón's version came through Aurelio Manzano. The Venezuelan assured that he had spoken with the biologist and, despite not clarifying whether his ex-partner has set this condition, Obregón would have made it clear that his granddaughter will bear the surname of his son Aless, who died in 2020 as a result of cancer: " Ana has told me everything is done correctly and legally. That girl's father is a Lequio, her father's name is Aless Lequio. Alessandro Lequio has nothing to do here."

In addition, Manzano shed some more light on the little girl's last names: "In the United States that girl will be called Ana.S Lequio-Obregón because there they only have one last name, unless you ask a judge to have two and then they add a hyphen. In Spain it will have the two names and the two surnames".
