The television presenter Alonso Caparrós has shown his most vulnerable side in an interview with the magazine Lecturas. After confirming that he is experiencing an extremely complex moment in 'Save me', the man from Madrid has decided to share once and for all what has caused him great suffering in recent weeks.
His collapse on the television set after being asked about his personal situation revealed that something was not going well, and this was confirmed by Caparrós in his last exclusive interview: “In January I lost a friend, Esteban. I met him a year ago at the Spinal Cord Injured Foundation. He was a 37-year-old tetraplegic boy who requested a volunteer ”, the man from Madrid revealed.
The collaborator of the popular television program admits that he is going through a terrible moment on an emotional level, to which are added financial problems: "It has been a horrible month, of absolute destruction, of collapse," Caparrós reveals to Lecturas magazine, adding: "My dreams have been broken, I have to start from scratch."
Delving into his past medical history, the actor admits to having been born again after hitting rock bottom: “Once I was on the brink of death. According to my analysis and the overdose he had, the doctor said: 'I don't understand how he's not dead'. Getting closer to death was the beginning of my salvation.
Caparrós worried his team at the beginning of the month, when after being more distant than usual, he broke down in front of his fellow program members. The collaborators Kiko Matamoros and Kiko Hernández decided to ask him in a sarcastic tone: "Alonso is alive?", causing Caparrós to confess that he is indeed not in his best moment.
Without going into details, Caparrós confessed: "I have to say it and I apologize. Before going in I told the director to apologize. A series of things have happened to me lately that I am not going to tell on a personal level that have me a little out of me".
Despite the attempts to find out about his situation by those present, the man from Madrid refused: "This is not the time, but I feel a little absent. I only said it because I wanted to apologize. I prefer that you give me a few days and if you want I'll tell you," he added. Finally, Miguel Frigenti wrapped up his colleague embracing a Caparrós overcome by circumstances.
