Alessandro Lequio has had no choice but to speak out publicly after learning that Ana Sandra, the girl born by surrogacy in Miami, is his granddaughter. The Italian has broken his silence on The Ana Rosa Program, a program where he participates as a regular collaborator. Ana Obregón's ex-partner has acknowledged being "very affected" with the situation and has not wanted to go into more detail out of respect for her late son.
Lequio assures that his son would not like his private life to be discussed every day: ''Out of respect for my son, I am not going to comment on anything that affects him in any way. Aless didn't like talking about her private life and that's what I'm going to do. And that is her intention and her condition that he has placed on Ana Obregón to continue supporting her in the process, "that she take him off the plane."
According to the journalist María Patiño, the Italian wants to be away from covers, magazines and posts on social networks: "He asks him to 'take me out of the way, don't name me, I don't want to participate." If Obregón complies, he will be by his side. "I would have told him 'I'm here, I support you, but you take me away,'" said the presenter of Sálvame.
That would not be the only condition of Alessandro Lequio. Ana Rosa Quintana asked him this Monday if the girl will have her last name, to which he replied that she thinks not, confirming the theory that the collaborator would not be very willing to give the little girl her nickname.
From the first moment, before the news was made public, Lequio assured that he was aware of the process that Ana Obregón was carrying out to have a baby with the frozen sperm of her son Aless Lequio. While he would have tried to stop her at first, he ultimately accepted her decision but refused to actively participate.
The actress and businesswoman Ana Obregón, 68, announced last Tuesday that the girl born by surrogacy in Miami belongs to her deceased son Alejandro Lequio García and, therefore, she is not the mother of the newborn, named Ana Sandra Lequio Obregón, but his grandmother.
The Madrilenian assures that this "was her son's last wish": "What people don't know is that this was Aless's last wish: to bring her son into the world."
Obregón, who is in charge of taking care of the girl, has not been able to stop expressing her happiness on her social networks. "I will take care of you and protect you, you will never lack my immeasurable love or anything financial, because for that your grandmother worked 40 years, hoping that your father would inherit it one day and I only hope that when you are older surrounded by the love of all your cousins, of your 11 uncles, your grandmother and your father in heaven be a strong, happy, generous, supportive and healthy woman, and forgive as I have done to those who denied you your right to live", wrote the actress in your Instagram account.
