Terelu Campos collapses when remembering her mother on her expulsion from 'Bake Off': "It came to me at a very difficult time"

Bake Off: famous in the oven has managed to bring together Rocío Carrasco, Alba Carrillo, Terelu Campos, Yolanda Ramos, Ana Boyer and Julio Iglesias Jr., among others, in the same program. Seeing these well-known characters try to form various pastry products has made RTVE manage to bring together a part of the audience every Monday in front of the television.

However, María Teresa Campos' daughter had to say goodbye to her adventure between ovens, but not before breaking down when remembering the deceased presenter. "I hope that my mother, who today I wore a sweater that was hers, gives me luck. And if not, then it will be because she told me 'your time has come, daughter,'" she expressed at the beginning of the program.

It seems that wearing one of the communicator's usual clothes has not helped her to continue fighting to achieve the title of pastry chef. And Alejandra Rubio's mother was expelled from her in a final duel between her and Patxi Salinas.

"Let's see, I don't want to get excited. For me this has been a gift. Spending hours and hours here with you has been like: 'I'm giving you a hand because life goes on, goes on for everyone,'" said Terelu Campos in his farewell.

Unable to control her tears, the television collaborator wanted to make it clear how hard it is for her to cope with her mother's death. "She has come at a very difficult time, but the right one in my life. Truly, a very beautiful gift," she added.

After this, during some recordings outside the contest venue, Terelu assured that it could have been her mother who decided that her adventure ended there. "And if she said 'girl, you're fine with program eight,' then she's fine," were her last words in the baking contest.

An expulsion that automatically generated the reactions of her two friends within the contest. "It makes me very sad because she is the sulky one of the group, the grumpy dwarf, an essential part of the group," said Alba Carrillo. "I think we are a little orphaned. Terelu is my sister, she is not like her, but she is my sister. And she is a wonderful human being," added Rocío Carrasco.

Although it has been an emotional moment, the little taunt that Terelu wanted to send has not gone unnoticed. After thanking the judges for "never disrespecting them," she assured that not everyone is like that in this profession. "But of course, the evil criticism, the perverse one, the one that has a bad intention, I think that says a lot about whoever says it," she stated before leaving the program.
