Seven Seas Grandeur, the latest luxury cruise ship, arrives in Barcelona in November

Inspired by the past and amazingly redesigned for the future, this is the Seven Seas Grandeur, the new luxury ship from Regent Seven Seas that will depart from Trieste on November 18 for Barcelona. The ship, with a capacity of only 746 passengers, exceeds the demands of the most demanding guests. It has been designed by the award-winning Studio DADO, who has given it a refined, elegant and beautiful style.

Once the inaugural stopover is over, the Seven Seas Grandeur will weigh anchor in the Catalan capital on November 25 heading to Miami, where it will be officially inaugurated with Sarah Fabergé - great-granddaughter of Peter Carl Fabergé - as godmother, to remain throughout the winter season in the Caribbean . She will return to Barcelona from New York in April 2024, and from here she will sail the waters of the Mediterranean throughout the summer.

The leading luxury cruise company has made a strong commitment to the new ship, with gastronomy and art as spearheads. She will have a valuable art collection, including a custom-designed masterpiece: Journey in Jewels, the first Fabergé egg to reside permanently in the sea.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises will set a new standard for fine dining on board. To this end, a large team of culinary experts has worked to develop more than 130 dishes and improved recipes to enjoy in any of the ship's seven restaurants, led by Compass Rose, Regent's flagship restaurant.

The offer includes French cuisine dishes inspired by the L'Auberge du Vieux Puits -awarded with three Michelin stars-, Italian and Asian cuisine, as well as vegan, grill-style proposals and other more informal options that are not exempt from originality. The gastronomy will be reinforced by a careful wine list from the Gerard Bertrand winery and the recommendations of a professional sommelier.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises ships form The World's Most Luxurious Fleet and explore more than 500 immersive destinations around the world. According to Juan Rodero, CEO of StarClass / A World of Cruises, the company's choice of the Catalan port is a consequence of the good response received from Spanish customers, a behavior that he expects to increase in 2024.
