The young woman went to town to run some errands but she has not yet returned and the entire service is dedicated to searching for her. Will they be able to find her?
In the next episode of La 1's star soap opera, María Fernández finally discovers the identity of her kidnapper: Valentín. This obsessed individual has kept her locked up with the sick intention of conquering her. Meanwhile, Rómulo informs Salvador that he has not passed the probationary period to become the first lackey, news that does not surprise the young man after his disastrous management in recent days.
At the palace, Valentín simulates a deep interest in finding María Fernández, but Simona's suspicions about her son Antoñito's false friendship with this individual increase. Jana shares these suspicions with Sergeant Funes, and together they set up a trap whose outcome further complicates the situation for María.
On the other hand, Leonor discovers Curro and Martina kissing, thus revealing the secret that both of them were hiding from her. Before they realize her presence, Leonor decides to leave. Meanwhile, Catalina tries the new tomato sauce proposed by Lope and tells Pelayo that it could be the new line for her business. Furthermore, Jerónimo warns Pelayo about Cavendish's return to The Promise.
