Penélope Cruz joins the cowboy style that Beyoncé has made fashionable

The cowboy aesthetic has become one of the big trends of this season. The culprit of this trend has been Beyoncé, who last March released her eighth studio album Cowboy Carter, a work dedicated to country music and which in just a few days made history by making the singer the first black woman to obtain the number 1 on the Billboard chart.

Since then, the pieces and accessories of this western style have gained presence in street style. This could also be seen at the concert that Bad Bunyy recently offered at the Barclay's Center Brooklyn in New York, where Penélope Cruz could be seen with a look with which she joined this trend.

The lawyer Stephanie Chopurian was in charge of sharing on Instagram several images of this show that she enjoyed with the Madrid actress. “Perreando con Penélope Cruz at the Bad Bunny concert,” she wrote on Instagram, where you can see the styling worn by the protagonist of Volver.

Penelope surprised at the event with a cowboy-inspired outfit that consisted of a camel suede vest and blue jeans. A look that she completed with a quilted Chanel bag, a brand for which she has been an ambassador for years, and a striking white hat with feathers.

Cruz opted to wear very flattering makeup, with her look marked with a black pencil and with her very natural skin, with a soft touch of blush and pink lips. In this way, the Madrid native showed that she was up to date with the trends that are triumphing in 2024, as well as the dress code for the concerts, since at the Bad Bunny show attendees also wear accessories and cowboy pieces.

The Oscar-winning actress already experimented with this fashion in 2006, when she filmed the film Bandidas with Salma Hayek. In fact, the Mexican joked a few days ago on Instagram with an image of her where she appeared next to her bosom friend at one point during filming. "Dear Beyoncé, Penelope and I have been waiting 20 years for this album! Finally, it was worth it," she wrote in the publication.
