Netflix studies recovering 'Sálvame' daily and live after the broadcast of its new 'docureality'

Save yourself who can, the name chosen for the return of Sálvame to Netflix in docureality format, it could have a daily and live version. This was announced by journalist Rocco Steinhäuser in the radio program Versió RAC1, in what would mean the return of the original format broadcast by Telecinco between 2009 and June of this year 2023.

After the closure of the linear edition of the La factory de la tele space, which was announced in the month of May amid great controversy, the video platform acquired a good part of its best-known collaborators and announced that would carry out a new version of the program, showing his adventures in Miami for several weeks.

It was just a few days ago when Netflix finally announced the release date of this new format. It will be next November 10 when the first three chapters of Sálvese donde puede see the light of day, a name that could also be used for the return of the daily strip of the program.

According to Steinhäuser, the platform is studying this possibility with its head of non-fiction content in Spain, Álvaro Díaz. However, this return is not yet a closed fact and will depend on the performance of the episodes already recorded on the other side of the pond.

Social networks will also play a determining role in the final decision that Netflix will make regarding Every Man for Himself. For now, the figures from the trailer already published by the platform are optimal. "A priori, the more than 3 million views it has had on Twitter and the first images in less than 24 hours are a good sign," says Rocco Steinhäuser.

The journalist also recalled that more and more streaming platforms are betting on live content, as is the case of Prime Video, which will premiere a new edition of Operación Triunfo on November 20.
