Tori Spelling was the latest guest of Jennie Garth - who played Kelly Taylor in the famous series - on her podcast, 90210MG, where they talked about her great friend, Luke Perry. The actor, who died in 2019 at the age of 52 due to a massive stroke, was one of the most beloved characters in the series, and also one of the most popular actors of the time.
"I'll never forget the day he picked me up, took me to his dressing room and told me about Madonna," the actress recalled. "I felt like he trusted me a lot. I said, 'Oh, my God, he's telling me about Madonna!' "Do you remember when we had those machines for telephone messages? She gave me a message from her," she revealed.
According to Tori Spelling, Madonna left him a phone message that undoubtedly proved their romance. For Spelling, it was a revelation. "I told him, 'You're the coolest person in the world. First, because you're Luke Perry. Second, because Madonna loves you.' There was something between them, even if it was only for a short time."
