Less is more: Julia Roberts' impeccable look for the Jacquemus show

Jacquemus returned to his beloved Provence to present his latest collection, Les sculptures. The creative director of the firm, Simon Porte Jacquemus, chose the Maeght Foundation, in Saint-Paul-De-Vence, to show the public his renewed designs with which he transformed the office uniform and which had volume as its star detail.

On a catwalk led by Gigi Hadid, the models paraded in outfits that followed the fashion of the Old Money aesthetic, geometric designs that hugged the body and the unexpected asymmetries that return with force in 2024.

Some original proposals in tones such as white, black or red that caught the attention of Julia Roberts, who became the main protagonist of the show thanks to her minimalist look signed by the French house. The protagonist of Pretty Woman showed that the rule of "less is more" is still the key to getting the looks right both for going to the office and going out at night.

The actress arrived at the event wearing a black coat with a fitted silhouette, without a lapel and with volume on the shoulders. An exclusive creation with front pockets that stylized her figure and that she wore with black stockings - a combination that has all the numbers to become one of the trends of the moment after the furor for red stockings -, some slingback shoes with stiletto heels and bow detail on the instep and the Le petit Calino leather handbag, which costs 890 euros.

Roberts coincided at the show with the British editor and stylist Edward Enninful, who wore a blue jacket suit with a black t-shirt, and with other colleagues such as Kristin Davis, who wore a look in the purest style of Charlotte York Goldenblatt, her character in Sex in New York.

The actress opted for a romantic pastel yellow ensemble by Jacquemus, consisting of a fitted blazer, flared high-low waist pants and a silk blouse with a bow. She finished off the look with striking pumps in the same tone and the iconic Le Bambino bag, also in yellow.

Another of the attendees was Bianca Balti, who opted for a black slip dress with an original white detail on the neckline and bottom of the skirt. She carried the same black leather bag as Julia Roberts.

Kylie Jenner also did not miss the parade, as she did not go unnoticed with her total red look, with a draped minidress with an opening at the neckline, slingback pumps with a bow detail, and black sunglasses.
