Justin Timberlake, concerned about the imminent release of Britney Spears' memoirs

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are once again in the center of the media spotlight. On Tuesday, October 24, The Woman In Me, the book with the singer's memoirs, goes on sale under the publisher Gallery Books. ''I'm finally going to tell my story on my own terms,'' the artist confessed on her social networks. The artist will be able to relate in first person all the problems she had to face to leave thirteen years after her father's guardianship.

But the publication of these memoirs has removed many issues from the past that seemed to be forgotten, such as her controversial romance with the singer and actor Justin Timberlake, with whom she had a relationship for three years. The artists began their love story in 1999, after meeting at The Mickey Mouse Club. But three years later everything ended amid rumors about possible infidelity on the part of Britney Spears.

According to sources close to the singer, one of the chapters of the book would be entirely dedicated to the relationship she had with a former member of the musical group NSYNC. This revelation would have set off all the alarms in the actor's environment, who, according to Page Six, would be quite "worried" about the possible words that his ex-partner might say to him.

Furthermore, the first information revealed by some American media, such as Us Weekly, assured that the content of the memoirs was not going to be to the liking of the actor. ''Justin is not going to be happy because Britney tells one version and it doesn't look like Timberlake's,'' a source revealed.

''It is not Britney's intention to criticize anyone. She is simply going to transmit the facts from her perspective," declared another source to the aforementioned media. In this way, the media war between both parties is fueled again twenty years later, in which the singer has made statements about the relationship in more on one occasion, where it did not leave the artist in a good position.

''I deeply regret the times in my life when my actions contributed to the problem, when I spoke out of turn or did not stand up for what was right. …The industry is flawed. Prepares men, especially white men, for success. It's designed this way,' he wrote via his Instagram profile.
