The red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival is being a recital of style and glamor in each of the passes. The most important actors and actresses of the moment have gathered in the city of stars to present their work and show themselves to the public in their best clothes.
Irina Shayk has exceeded all expectations with one of the most daring designs of this edition. The model has appeared with an "impossible" design signed by Giorgio Armani that left her entire abdomen exposed. A black leather look with a crossover neckline that covered her chest and was highlighted with an imposing Egyptian-inspired diamond necklace from the latest Messika Paris collection.
The most impressive part of the design fell on the extremely low-rise mermaid skirt, a style that only Shayk could champion. With this, the model confirms the return of the trends of the 2000s, those years in which wearing low-rise skinny pants was practically an obligation.
It was also a challenge to the dress codes imposed by the pageant – some that demand rigorous elegant etiquette – and which she finished off by doing without practically all makeup and wearing a natural look. The cameras quickly focused on Shayk close-up and his skin looked slightly red, the result of some type of dermatitis or atopic skin condition.
This is not the first time that the model attends an important contest without a trace of makeup. She did it during the CFDA Fashion Awards party and on the fashion catwalks. Other times she has also opted for very natural makeup, with no makeup effect, as was the case at the 2022 Met Gala.
