Have you run out of eyeliner? Don't throw it away without doing this first.

The range of products with which we can do eyeliner is very wide. There are those who are faithful to the pencil format, while other people prefer to opt for powder shadows and others opt for creamy textures. But without a doubt the most popular is the eyeliner in marker or brush format.

It is the easiest to apply, without having to be particularly crafty. It is very neat, it does not stain or run and it is also the most durable. Not to mention that it is also very easy to remove or touch up if you make a mistake or need to polish the liner.

However, this format faces a small drawback: it runs out very quickly. Either because you use it so much that you use up the product, or because you only use it from time to time and it ends up drying out without you getting to use it properly. You are immersed in your makeup routine to go out, you are going to use your trusty eyeliner and you find that it is already completely dry and does not apply. Well, before you throw it away, there's a viral trick you need to try.

Due to the peculiar format that these cosmetics present, often when they stop painting it is not because the liquid has run out, but because the applicator brush has dried out or is no longer moistened properly as the product runs out. For this reason, we often throw it away believing that it has reached the end of its useful life, when in reality it is possible for it to last several more weeks with a simple procedure.

From the TikTok profile @ipsy, specialized in beauty and makeup and with more than 3.6 million followers, they reveal the infallible trick to make the most of your eyeliner. The video, which is barely 15 seconds long – such is the simplicity of the procedure, as fast as it is effective – is already close to 2 million likes.

When your eyeliner stops painting, take some tweezers and carefully remove the applicator brush. Do it as close as possible to the container itself and do not press too hard, as you could break it. Next, turn the applicator brush over and insert the tip into the container, soaking it well in the liquid inside. Next, remove the applicator again and place it in its original position. And that's it, it's that easy. When it dries again, repeat the procedure until there is no more product left to use.
