A few days ago, Frank Cuesta was experiencing a dramatic moment that almost cost him his life. The famous herpetologist suffered a brutal attack from Perrito, one of the deer that lives in his natural sanctuary in Thailand. An attack that he broadcast live, through his Twitch channel, and that quickly became viral on social networks.
Cuesta himself recounted what happened through his social networks, ensuring that he had only suffered a few scratches despite the violence of the attack. Days later, the legendary presenter of Frank de la Jungla has shown some images in which you can see the bruises and wounds resulting from Puppy's attack.
"I'm full of bruises, wounds... There's a lot of abrasion because I was stuck among the rocks. This part of my elbow is swollen. It left me with two broken ribs. I'm full of holes," explains the naturalist, who, although accustomed to this type of injuries, he is sore.
"It is not the first time, nor the second, nor the third, nor the fourth, it is the fifth time that I break my ribs, so I already know what it is like... It hurts when breathing, when coughing, when making movements" . In addition, the herpetologist also showed his injuries on his back, marked by a huge hematoma, from when he fell to the ground and "was hit."
The cameras captured the moment of the brutal attack in which Perrito attacks Cuesta, who claimed to have been "about to die." The naturalist acknowledged having "made the mistake of leaving through an area where he saw no way out," so the animal had pounced on him, hopeless and looking for an escape.
"It was my fault for thinking I had a way out, and he hit me several times, some deeper than others," he explained. "It was a life or death situation, but that's how wildlife is. It's wild, it's screwed up. I'm lucky to be a big guy, but a deer is an animal that can kill you."
The popular herpetologist went to visit Perrito the day after the attack, and confirmed that the animal continues in heat, trying to free itself of its energy as best it can. In the images shown, you can see the deer breaking everything in its path with its horns, sharp "like razors."
"Nature is very beautiful, it is very hard; sometimes unfair. Things happen. Animals have reactions," he explains. "This time we came out well, as far as possible, but we continue."
