The leak of the salaries of TVE presenters has caused a stir among viewers. And it is that, according to the Público newspaper announced last Tuesday, some of the best-known faces of public television in our country receive real salaries. Figures that range between 4,000 and 11,000 euros per program, as published by the Council for Transparency and Good Governance.
This last figure, that of 11,000 euros, is the one that has raised the most blisters: it points directly to Eva Soriano for her work as the presenter of La Noche D. In the face of the criticism received, the comedian has not hesitated to respond live, in her own Movistar Plus program and pulling irony. She intones the mea culpa, but in her own way.
“First of all, today I have to apologize to all of you who are here and to all of Spain”, Eva Soriano began by saying in the initial monologue. "I sing the mea culpa for charging for having worked," she continued, trying to contain her laughter and explaining to the audience the reason for her words. "It is known that I have been the best paid," she assured, which drew applause from the public.
Here the comedian made a point regarding being the best paid: "Ahead of the MasterChef judges." What again drew more applause from those present on the Showriano set.
“In principle, I don't know if it's good or bad. I mean, there are a lot of people who have said: 'But how can you charge that barbaric?'. And I said: 'Well, he's right' ”, she was ironic.
“Yes, it is true that I have already collected the money, I cannot return it, it is impossible. And it's your money. So, it occurred to me, so that you have a benefit from me that, if you go down the street and you come across me, that I tell you a joke. Total, you have already paid for it, ”she joked.
He even dropped a: "this year in the Income Statement, remember to check the box for Eva Soriano." So, the presenter wanted to point out some things that had been said about her and that pointed to her as "the definition of nepotism."
To which the comedian replied: “That would imply that I have a relative who has a position of power. And it is that, to this day, it is still believed that I am the daughter of Irma Soriano, solely and exclusively because I share a last name, which seems to me an absurd thing.
But “what hurts me the most about all this is that there are people who say that I have received what I have received for sucking dicks. Oh my gosh, it has never been said to a woman in a position of power,” she sneered.
And here Soriano began a string of sexual comparisons: “Let's put ourselves in the situation that it was like that, that they would have paid me 11,000 euros for sucking a dick. It's not the money, anymore. It's, how should I...? It's 11,000 euros per meal, laugh at DiverXO”.
The joke continued with: “When the blowjob is over, I have to give you a little bow. 11,000 euros a week, not a month, that already seems like a vice to me”. And, to finish, the humorist settled the matter with a musical staging to the cry of “Mamama-mamamamada”.
