The usual presenters go on vacation and leave the position to other colleagues, who will be in charge of occupying the mornings and afternoons until the month of September. However, today at Atresmedia there has been one of those final farewells.
Lorena García, summer presenter for Espejo Público replacing Susanna Griso, has had the opportunity to say goodbye to one of the team's oldest teammates: Mabel Redondo. The Madrid collaborator has said goodbye to the Antena 3 program after fourteen long years of experience, sharing stories and moments with the rest of her colleagues.
“Today we have a farewell to a classic from Espejo Público. It takes more years than the logo, ”García commented at the same time that the cameras focused on Redondo. “Well not so much but good. They are 14 years old. Today is my last day. In Public Mirror. I'm staying, I'm staying at home”, clarified the television, despite the fact that it is still not known what his new destination will be.
“To say that I have enjoyed a lot in these 14 years, I have met fantastic people, I have enjoyed camaraderie and people I love very much and that I carry in my heart. They have been 14 years of many joys, also of some other disappointment. But above all, a lot of joy and happiness that I carry in my head, in my heart and in my body from the mountains”, added the woman from Madrid, to applause on the set.
In this way, Mabel Redondo said goodbye to the Atresmedia morning magazine after almost a decade and a half of collaboration. The journalist began her career in the media together with Pepe Navarro in Tonight we cross the Mississippi. From there she went on to other spaces such as Tómbola on Canal Nou, Salsa Rosa or A tu lado on Telecinco, and different programs on Antena 3 such as Open at dusk, A la carte or La vida es Rosa.
Who was not there to say goodbye to her was Susanna Griso. The main presenter of the space already announced last week that she would start her vacation after the elections on July 23: "Carlos, I already say goodbye because next week...
