Carles Puyol recounts his bad experience at Toulouse airport: "The worst thing is the treatment received"

Who hasn't had a problem with an airline on occasion? Delayed flights, checked bags that end up in another destination or the demanding measurements of cabin luggage. It is precisely this last thing that the former captain of FC Barcelona, Carles Puyol, has had to face, who denounced this Friday the "bad experience" he had had on board a plane of the French airline AirFrance.

The former Barça defender turned to his suitcase with which he had traveled for the last decade, according to him. The reason was its size, which according to the staff did not comply with the regulations.

As indicated on the AirFrance website, the maximum dimensions of hand luggage must be 55 x 35 x 25 cm, including pockets, wheels and handles. Puyol does not show images of his suitcase, but he does tell what he experienced.

"Bad experience today at Toulouse airport, after more than 10 years traveling with my cabin suitcase, it is the first time that I cannot take it on the plane due to its size, and the worst thing is the treatment received, I will try to fly with other companies kinder next time," wrote the former player.

For the former player, the worst thing about the issue was not only that they did not allow him to put his suitcase in as he usually did; but other passengers could travel with his luggage, with suitcases even larger in size.

As expected, the reactions of his followers were immediate. However, instead of providing useful answers or even some advice, they tried to add a touch of humor to the matter.

It must be said that Air France has responded to the former Barça defender, although with one of its typical generic responses through social networks.
