Candela Acevedo's harsh statements about her ex, Antonio Tejado: "If he weren't in prison I wouldn't dare say this"

Candela Acevedo is not at all surprised by what has happened in recent days to her ex-partner, Antonio Tejado. "The first thing I thought was: "He has done so many cruel things that nothing surprises me," confesses the Sevillian, who lived three years of her life with María del Monte's nephew.

Antonio Tejado remains in provisional prison without bail for allegedly being involved in an organized criminal gang and responsible, among others, for the robbery suffered by his aunt, María del Monte, last summer. A decision that the judge made, in part, because of his criminal record; Tejado is convicted of distributing intimate videos of Candela Acevedo.

More than four years after their breakup, Candela Acevedo opens up about what those years with the Sevillian were like and reveals the hell she had to live through during their relationship, which was very complicated and toxic. "The damage he has done to me has been so great that it has cost me a lot to rebuild my life," Acevedo confesses. "I've needed therapy. I'm very afraid of going through hell again."

A hell in the form of an intimate video that I thought had been deleted forever, but that Antonio Tejado did not hesitate to share with his friends. Candela says that she found out everything during the pandemic, when acquaintances of hers called her and told her they had seen images of her. "I never thought she was going to use it. It was terrifying. I think everyone has seen them."

Antonio was convicted of revealing secrets, he admitted the facts and Candela obtained a conviction. "It's my grain of sand, in case he did the same thing to another woman, let that man pay," she says, bluntly.

Candela Acevedo recognizes that the relationship has left her "disturbed," that she has years of therapy behind her. During her relationship, according to her, she endured humiliation not only from Antonio Tejado, but also from her family. On one occasion, they had a fight so bad that the police came. After years of denying the obvious, she recognizes that she realized that she did not love herself. "I abandoned myself," she confesses, "You think you don't deserve anything better."

In the midst of this whole situation, Candela says that Tejado convinced him to join GH Dúo. A show she admits she hasn't been able to watch again. "In a subtle way she humiliated and controlled me. I feel sorry for myself. She was manipulated."

He admits that, the last time he saw him, "his legs were shaking." Now, she looks strong to tell everything she experienced. "If he weren't in prison, he wouldn't dare tell this."
