The actor Antonio Resines, founding member of the Academy of Performing Arts, today receives a very special recognition from the Government of Cantabria. This is a special award within the I Talía Awards of the Academy of Performing Arts.
This gala is celebrated on Theater Day itself, March 27, at the Teatro Español and can be followed on the small screen thanks to La 2 de Televisión Española or live on the internet with RTVE Play.
These awards will recognize the work of dozens of actors over the past year with 28 different categories. In addition, the awards have special categories, such as the one that awards Resines tonight, the extraordinary Talía "Back to Life" award, granted by the Government of Cantabria and that in each edition will correspond to a different region.
Due to this celebration, La Razón has interviewed the Cantabrian interpreter to find out how he is and talk a little with him about his career, his career and all the projects in which he has participated.
In the interview, they ask him about whether he has celebrated 1 year since he was hospitalized seriously due to complications derived from catching the coronavirus. Resines, laughing, replied that the only thing he celebrates is "being able to continue playing the fool," working and seeing the people he loves.
Speaking of theater, Antonio has recognized that he has not done many plays in his life because he prefers to "go on vacation" in the summer: "The beauty of theater is rehearsing, learning and doing it very well. Then, there comes a time when you can't take it anymore. What happens is that my idea is not profitable because everything costs money and then the tours are brutal''.
During the interview, Resines was very close and even spoke to a reporter about one of his greatest passions: soccer and Real Madrid. When asked about the Negreira Case, the actor does not give credit: "Tremendous. I don't know why Madrid didn't join the general statement first.''
One of the funniest moments of the match came shortly after, when the Spaniard admitted that he was going to go to the Bernabéu to watch a Madrid Cup match. In the end it was not because he believed that the last time he had attended the stadium they had hit him with the coronavirus, to which the journalist replied that yes, it was a bad place, but to which he clarified: "No, it was for Barça , some bastard would hit me ''.
