Ana Rosa Quintana does not hit a single one in her general election baton: her failed forecast

Probably against her will and not for the reasons she would have wanted, Ana Rosa Quintana became one of the great protagonists of the election day of 23-J. She was not presenting herself as a candidate, but she is one of the figures that has campaigned the most in recent months since her morning show on Telecinco.

The communicator has given her opinion, openly; charging hard against Pedro Sánchez and even daring to give his forecast on what would happen in this exciting electoral event. Now, despite her safety, the presenter did not hit a single one of them, which made her a laughingstock among social network users.

The presenter of El programa de AR delayed her summer vacation to analyze the electoral results in the following days, but it was more than clear who was going to be the winner: Alberto Núñez Feijóo, candidate and leader of the Popular Party. So much so that she only closed an interview with him for the day after the elections.

What's more, Quintana wanted to demonstrate the absolute confidence he had in his victory with a challenge to his collaborators: a baton. All of them, without surprises, also gave the leader of the popular as victorious, although detailing the seats caused a small stir at the table, with the collaborators who did not know whether to make a forecast or stay on the sidelines.

Ana Rosa Quintana, however, went further, detailing her bets after the journalist Isabel San Sebastián, who was the only one to give all her data. The communicator granted 155 seats to the Popular Party and 110 seats to the PSOE, led by Pedro Sánchez, current Prime Minister. Later, she distributed 30 seats to the far-right Vox party and 27 seats to Yolanda Díaz's party, Sumar.

"One thing is clear and that is that everyone sees the PP as the winner and all the sums give them as winners," the presenter reiterated on several occasions, making it clear that PP must agree with Vox to govern.

Now, if Pedro Sánchez has made something clear since 2018, it is that he has the capacity to surprise even when it seems that everything is lost. For this reason, Ana Rosa Quintana may not believe it, but she did not match any of the data from her personal bets, something that made Twitter users especially amused after election night.

The Unicorn production company in full has been directly following the apparent declared objective of the Fuencarral group: that there is a right-wing government in Spain, as it already exists in Italy. It must be remembered that Telecinco belongs to Mediaset, one of the many companies of the Berlusconi family, government partners of Giorgia Meloni, the current Italian Prime Minister, who came to power in her country with a political party with neo-fascist roots and with the promise of blowing up the European Union.
