Actress Olivia Munn reveals who her greatest support is in her fight against cancer: "It's the only time my brain doesn't think about being sick"

Olivia Munn is going through one of the most complicated stages of her life. The actress underwent a double mastectomy a month ago after being diagnosed with "aggressive" breast cancer in February last year.

"It was much more difficult than I expected... I saw myself for the first time and I was shocked," the actress revealed in People magazine, where she commented on the details of her illness.

The interpreter has been receiving hormonal suppression therapy since November that has side effects such as induced menopause. However, she has chosen to focus on the positive, feeling grateful for "having had the opportunity to fight."

Regarding her maximum support in her fight against cancer, the actress has highlighted her husband, John Mulaney. The interpreter has remained by her side throughout the entire process, supporting her at all times: "Without him, it would have been like climbing an iceberg," says Munn.

Another of the key people in the American's life is her son Malcolm, two and a half years old. "I don't think he had a moment to himself, between being an incredibly devoted father and going to and from the hospital, taking Malcolm to the park, putting him down for a nap, driving to Cedars-Sinai, hanging out with me, going home , put Malcolm to bed and come back to me. And it made everything happy," says the actress.

Carrying such an aggressive disease while being a public figure has not been easy for Munn, who chose to keep the process private. The actress did not announce the news until March, hours after attending the Oscars ceremony.
