A woman from Sanlúcar becomes a millionaire after taking a DNA test

Life can take the most unexpected turns when you least expect it. On other occasions, you fight the unspeakable to get them. This is the struggle of a woman from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, in the province of Cádiz, who had spent eight years trying to prove her true identity, as well as confirm the identity of her father. And this week, after an arduous fight, she has managed to prove it.

Luisa has told her story to Así es la vida, the Telecinco program presented by Sandra Barneda. The woman, about to turn 70, had been trying all this time to prove that she was the daughter of Antonio Luque Gago, a famous Sevillian banderillero who died last February. After a DNA test, something that the affected person blessed after the results that she gave him, she has been able to verify that, indeed, she and Luque Gago were father and daughter.

The story has a certain background in the woman's childhood. Her family always had contact with the bullfighter when Luisa was young. It wasn't until she was about thirteen years old that Luque Gago confessed to her that she, perhaps, could be her daughter. Since then, she tried to prove it and stay with a clear conscience, since neither of them rejected the possibility that it existed. This confirmation comes four months after her death, but with a detail that the Barneda program wanted to highlight.

And it is that being the daughter of Luque Gago, Luisa will receive a millionaire inheritance from her late father. Both tried to enforce the confirmation legally, through the courts. However, unregistered documents delayed the process and cost the banderillero to see the end of it alive. The procedure also required a DNA test, which Luisa was finally able to perform recently to put an end to the unknowns.

During her interview with Así es la vida, where she has chosen to remain anonymous, Luisa wholeheartedly appreciated the work of her lawyer, who also highlighted the patience he has had in the face of all the inconveniences that have occurred. The woman herself was very happy to finally be able to say that she was the daughter of Antonio Luque Gago, although unfortunately he was no longer there to tell it.

Regarding the inheritance itself, the exact amount she will receive is not known, but Luisa doesn't care. She simply wanted to make sure that the banderillero was really her father and it seems that she cares little about the millions that she will inherit. When asked by the collaborators of the program, she has even suggested that they go down to Sanlúcar de Barrameda to invite them to any refreshment, something that has drawn applause from the public.
