A stylist reveals the colors that this 2023 are associated with luxury

Silent luxury has taken over wardrobes this season. Styles are simplified and trends make room for more timeless, neutral fashion with a luxurious feel. And there are cuts and, above all, colors capable of enhancing a garment and making it look more expensive and exclusive.

"There are colors that are associated with luxury and are usually included in what we call a neutral palette," stylist and image consultant Silvia Uceda explains to La Vanguardia. This palette, she says, is composed in its most basic version of white, black and gray but the variations of these three colors are also considered to be part of it.

Thus, off-white, vanilla, ecru, are colors that are unconsciously associated with high purchasing power. The best way to show them off is, according to this image expert, through a total look: "It is a reality that the human eye perceives harmony in monochromatic styles and, therefore, instinctively associate it with purity and, ultimately, luxury." , Add.

Another palette that derives from these more neutral tones is the one dominated by brown. "In the industry, brown and its tonal variations are associated with luxury and, more specifically, with silent luxury, which is so popular this season," explains Uceda, who also attributes traits such as sophistication and sobriety to brown tones.

"Camel, beige, sand and chocolate brown are considered discreet colors and in fashion psychology they are associated with wanting to climb socially," highlights the stylist. The reason? The most powerful women wear it daily in coats or total looks, for example Anna Wintour, Tamara Falcó or even Queen Letizia.

We have white and its variations, gray, the range of browns and the classic black. Uceda adds to this recipe for success maroon, navy blue and, in fact, all those colors that have traces of black in their composition, an eternal synonym of elegance.
