A single woman distrusts her date and the 'First Dates' team has to intervene: ''She doesn't believe it''

The most romantic space on television reopened its doors one more night. On Tuesday's show, the presenters welcomed different diners, who showed up to First Dates with the aim of finding their better half. But going to television does not guarantee leaving hand in hand with the perfect partner.

Something that Torcuato and Pilar experienced firsthand. The 69-year-old single arrived at Cuatro's space stating that with his age it was more difficult to find a person with whom to share his life. He wanted to find a happy and active woman so he could do all kinds of activities, like traveling.

His date was going to be Pilar, a 62-year-old single woman, who confessed to doing "everything she wanted" because "she didn't have to explain herself to anyone." The first impression among the singles was quite different. ''I didn't like it very much, a normal thing,'' commented the bachelor. ''He is more or less my prototype, you can't ask for more at this age,'' she asserted.

Furthermore, Torcuato was impressed with his date's hairstyle and Pilar claimed that she always caught the eyes of passers-by. ''Some like it and others laugh, but I don't care about anything,'' she declared. After discovering that they both lived almost on the same street in Granada, Laura Boado accompanied the couple to her table, where the evening began.

The single woman started the evening by asking the bachelor about his age. Torcuato confessed to being 69 years old and the single woman did not believe at all that the bachelor was that age. ''69 no,'' she said. ''Yes, ask them. Do you think I have more?'' he responded. ''Less,'' Pilar clarified. ''I am older than you,'' Torcuato assured.

Suddenly, Laura Boado approached the table and cleared up the single woman's doubts. ''That says I'm not as old as I am,'' said the bachelor. ''She's 69 yes,'' the presenter clarified. ''You don't believe it,'' he said. And Pilar continued to be amazed that her date was almost 70 years old, since she thought he was much younger. ''He has a face that looks like she has ironed it,'' she commented.

At one point during the evening, Torcuato said that he was looking for someone to share his life with. For her part, Pilar was afraid that he just wanted to meet someone for a night. ''She is a sincere woman, who speaks clearly and I like that about her,'' said the bachelor. In addition, the bachelor claimed that he was "looking for a woman to make him food." A statement that bothered the single woman. ''What is that in the 21st century?'' she responded. But the bachelor clarified that it was a joke and that the household chores had to be shared.

The date progressed and the single woman was increasingly convinced that a very special connection had emerged between them. In the final stretch of the dinner, the couple moved to the program's booth, where the two demonstrated their great skills in dancing to the rhythm of La Bachata. ''I like it when a man also dances,'' she stressed. But the good harmony between the two disappeared in the final decision. And despite having been very comfortable, Torcuato rejected the couple romantically. ''
