A single man runs away from 'First Dates' and provokes the enormous anger of his date: ''I have felt humiliated''

New installment of the most popular dating space on the small screen, First Dates. On Wednesday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado once again welcomed a new batch of single men and women willing to give their all in the complicated mission of finding the right person. And although the vast majority come to the program with the intention of having an unparalleled evening, the opposite often happens.

This was the case of Sandra and Álex. The 25-year-old single woman from Madrid arrived at the restaurant confessing to having studied music for more than ten years. ''I love climbing, skating, I have many hobbies,'' she declared. She wanted to meet a nice, polite and affectionate boy. ''I put a smile on life,'' she commented.

However, her excitement at meeting the man of her life was not going to last long. And the single woman was about to meet her date, Álex, a 23-year-old Basque bachelor, with whom she was not going to have any chemistry. ''He didn't seem pretty at all, for my tastes. At first he has to attract me and if he doesn't attract me... '', the bachelor stated as soon as he met Sandra. ''I saw him super nervous and physically he is not my type, but well I said let's give him a chance,'' declared the Madrid native.

After a very uncomfortable silence, Laura Boado approached the singles to break the ice and accompany them to their table, where one of the most uncomfortable dates in the history of First Dates began.

During the first minutes of dinner, the singles were unable to engage in a conversation of more than two sentences. ''If there is no attraction, I try to talk as little as possible because I don't feel like it,'' declared the bachelor. ''He didn't really want to talk or do anything with me,'' she asserted.

The date progressed and Sandra tried to avoid awkward silences with all kinds of conversation topics. But her attempt had no effect on Álex, who became increasingly colder towards the single woman. ''I felt quite uncomfortable,'' she commented. ''I feel like I'm wasting my time,'' he said. But at a certain point during the evening, Sandra did not mince words and asked him directly what he thought. A question that she triggered in an act of sincerity between the two. ''There has been no physical attraction'' they both confessed.

However, the situation became complicated in the final stretch when Álex took advantage of the fact that his date had gone to the bathroom to flee the restaurant without saying goodbye. ''We've already talked about it and I don't think he feels bad about me leaving,'' the bachelor confessed. But when the single woman returned to the table she discovered the tremendous sit-in. ''They have never left me stranded on a date (...) That should not be done. I have felt frozen, humiliated, I did not expect him to abandon me in this way. I expected more maturity...She seemed like a bitch to me,'' Sandra concluded.
