Sydney Sweeney surprises with her custom Ford Mustang

Almost six decades after the birth of the iconic Ford Mustang, the veteran American manufacturer has ventured into a very special project to commemorate this anniversary. Sydney Sweeny, an actress known internationally for her role as Cassie Howard in the series Euphoria, has participated in the design of the 2024 Ford Mustang GT. It is a very limited à la carte edition, since only two people, Sweeny herself and the lucky one in an exclusive giveaway, you will be able to enjoy this car.

The customization of this Mustang GT is inspired by the 1966 Britney Mustang owned by the actress — like the one that appears, by the way, in the video for Britney Spears' Stronger. This model stands out for its bluish-green exterior body, its leather seats and many other details on which Sydney Sweeny has left his mark.

Sweeney has worked closely with the Ford team to design his dream vehicle. In addition to its unmistakable paint tone—Robin'Egg blue, literally, the color of robin's eggs—the exterior of this Mustang GT stands out for its 20-inch chrome wheels and a heart-shaped bolt. This same emblem appears engraved on interior elements such as the gear lever, the dashboard or the leather seats.

Inside, another of the characteristic aspects of Sydney Sweeny's Ford Mustang is its roof with LED stars, a tribute to his taste for night trips. Even the engine cover is signed by the actress herself! Now, Ford has launched a raffle to get one of the two units manufactured. Interested people can participate until February 7 by following the instructions on their official profiles on Instagram and TikTok.

Sydney Sweeney is the daughter of a family of mechanics from Spokane, Washington. Her passion for Fords comes from her great-grandfather, who had a Ford F-100 that she was lucky enough to learn to drive. Additionally, during the pandemic, the actress documented the repair she did on a 1969 Ford Bronco on her TikTok account.

It's also not the first time Sweeney and Ford have worked together. Without going any further, last year they launched two lines of work clothing, which use the same logo that is engraved on the seats or the gear lever of the 2024 Ford Mustang GT. The interpreter was also the image of a campaign by the automotive giant dedicated to breaking taboos about women's relationship with mechanics.
