The vast majority of cyclists use Strava in order to record their training and observe their progress, but there are some users who count kilometers is not enough for them. This trend is called 'StravArt' and there are real fancy things going on in the popular app. One of the most fascinating is the one we are highlighting today, the largest 'StravArt' in history, a velociraptor over 1,000 kilometers long. A real barbarity.
The authors of this curious dinosaur are Maxime Brugère, Florent Arnaud, Franck Delorme and Nicolas Meunier, four Frenchmen who, pedaling for 6 consecutive days, were able to paint on the geolocation map the largest artistic route ever made on Strava. 1,024.72 kilometers that meant more than 43 hours of pedaling.
It was not the first time that they tried it with a dinosaur but their creations to date did not exceed 200 kilometers. For the group, drawing dinosaurs is a way of notifying society that any species, no matter how strong it may seem, can disappear quickly and that we must take responsibility to solve the climate crisis that humanity has created. 'StravArt' is also a great way to claim ideas.
