Wine therapy: the secret to radiant and healthy beauty

At the last Pitti Fragrance meeting, the trend was detected: a tasting of natural wines pairing them with exquisite fragrances in a private Florentine garden... The idea has already reached Spain and reinforces the binomial between wine and beauty, which comes from afar - in At the court of Louis XV, wine masks were already used to blush the cheeks—and they take different forms.

Powerful antioxidant and anti-stain active ingredients are obtained around the vine and grapes that do a lot for the skin; Spas and wine spas in wine-growing lands, such as Ribera del Duero, Bordeaux or Perelada, also offer wine therapy treatments in luxurious settings that can end with a sip of a good wine. Exfoliation, body massages made with grapes (seeds included), wraps, the most hedonistic hot tubs with red wine...

Some of its benefits: it is a great antioxidant, improves hydration and circulation, relaxes muscle tension and, no less important, lifts your spirits.

It uses products derived from grapes to improve general well-being through relaxation and personalized treatments. Its strong points: hydration, elimination of toxins, stimulation of circulation and collagen production to improve skin elasticity.

Two worlds, the same ritual: appreciate the bottle, open or uncork, feel the aroma, the top notes, live it to the surface... The alliance between Almah parfums 1948 and the Priorat winery Clos de l'Obac comes to fruition in two perfumes inspired by two bestsellers, the red Obac and the white Kyrie. “It is a project of more than two years and we already have a waiting list in Italy,” explains Jordi Magrans, 'nose' and founder of Almah. The first, more masculine, although the perfume easily jumps gender barriers, smells of cedar wood, cloves, black pepper, myrrh...

The second, more feminine, if you will, has aromas of coriander, Sambac jasmine, cardamom, cloves, Bulgarian rose... Both have a woody touch from French oak barrels. “Perfume chooses you, you don't choose it,” says Magrans.
