Victims of ETA accuse Ayuso of his "let them vote Txapote" directed at the PSOE

Consuelo Ordóñez, sister of the councilor of the PP assassinated by ETA Gregorio Ordóñez and president of the Committee for Victims of Terrorism (Covite), yesterday Thursday reproached the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, for using the phrase "vote for them Txapote" to allude to the PSOE in plenary session of the regional Assembly.

During the first government control session of 2023 in the Madrid Assembly, Ayuso reproduced yesterday the phrase that went viral after the appearance of a man on a live Spanish Television insulting the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.

"The victims deserve to be treated with respect, trivializing with a 'hashtag' the murderer of so many innocents, including my brother Gregorio Ordóñez, shows his lack of principles and how little he cares about us. Not like that, Mrs. Díaz Ayuso!" Consuelo Ordóñez wrote on Twitter.

In one of his interventions, Ayuso told the PSOE spokesman in the Assembly, Juan Lobato: "They are triggering unemployment, abandoning companies, forest fires, sinking foreign investment, skyrocketing inflation, multiplying poverty... And yes Your Honor, I think the only thing left to tell them is that Txapote vote for them."

Lobato asked Ayuso to "apologize for calling people who don't think like you riffraff or saying phrases like 'I vote for you Txapote' or very similar".
