Toulouse or San Sebastián are much closer to Vielha than Barcelona. Beyond the geographical data, it is a recurring theme with those who live and work in the Val d'Aran, the most remote region of Catalonia and whose marked identity is well known. Also in the kitchen where, in addition to local products, there is a clientele from outside who, especially in winter, mark the season and have a medium-high ticket.
