Unrest among Vox militants in the province of Valencia due to the election of the new executive

Several Vox militants from the province of Valencia have conveyed to this newspaper their discomfort with the composition of the new Provincial Executive Committee. They argue that Ignacio Gil Lázaro has created a body tailored to him, removing almost all the members of the previous executive and placing people he trusts in the new one. They consider that the work carried out by the previous team has not been valued.

This is the case of José María Llanos, former president and deputy spokesperson of the party in Corts Valencianes, or that of the former vice president and current Minister of Agriculture, José Luís Aguirre. Both have been removed from the new executive. Furthermore, according to these sources, the people chosen "are from Gil Lázaro and have not been working on the project in recent years." One of the people who expressed their discomfort has unsubscribed from Vox.

Gil Lázaro was elected by Santiago Abascal as president of Vox in the province of Valencia ten months ago. This decision gave him all the power to reform the organic structures of training in Valencia. One of the new features of the new executive is that the deputy secretaries disappear and there are now area managers. Furthermore, there are no prominent representatives of the Valencian institutions either.

In the new executive, the president is Ignacio Gil Lázaro; the vice president is Helena Martinez Losada; the secretary Jose Pedro Martinez Carrion; and vocals by Sergio Pastor, Monica Gil and Salvador Tena.
