United ends Arsenal's unbeaten run

Manchester United grows. The Red Devils won 3-1 this afternoon at Old Traffford against Arsenal unbeaten until yesterday and take another step in their recovery. Cristiano started again as a substitute, which is not new, and he came on at game time. He has not yet scored in these six games. Casemiro played the last ten minutes.

Antony, the signing of the hundred million, scored the first goal at 35 to culminate a good collective play by United. Antony had already scored two goals this season for Ajax. Before the goal, De Gea saved United's furniture with a great save by Martinelli. It was not the only one because the first part had a lot of street runners, without a clear dominator.

In the second half, Arsenal was better and dominated the ball in an abusive manner until they equalized in the 60th minute through Saka after a pass from Odegaard that Gabriel Jesus could not finish off. Five minutes earlier Saka had sent a ball to the crossbar.

The joy was short-lived for the Gunners. In the 66th minute United took the lead again with a genius pass from Bruno Fernandes, the man of the match, into the space through which Marcus Rashford appeared to make the score 2-1 and restore tranquility to Old Trafford.

In the 75th minute another genius of Brunos Fernandes put the sentence, another filtered ball behind the Arsenal defense to leave Eriksen completely alone, who in the one-on-one with the goalkeeper gave the leather to Rashford, who only had to push the ball to make it 3-1 and certify his double.

Then Casemiro came out and Cristiano kept trying until the end, with no luck. Old Trafford didn't care too much. United add their fourth consecutive victory and move within three points of Arsenal, defeated for the first time this season.
