At least two people were arrested this Monday morning in Torredembarra as a result of the joint operation of the Civil Guard and National Police against an alleged plot organized to exploit foreign workers.
Agents from both forces are carrying out a dozen searches in establishments in the coastal town, mainly, but also in the city of Tarragona.
The first person arrested was a woman who, according to sources close to the case, would be related to the management of a restaurant on the Torredembarra promenade.
Sources close to the case contemplate more arrests during the operation.
