Two men arrested for 30 robberies in homes in different locations in Madrid

The Civil Guard has managed to arrest the members of a criminal group specialized in committing forceful robberies in thirty homes located in half a dozen towns in the Community of Madrid, the Madrid Civil Guard Command has reported in a release.

The arrests have been carried out within the framework of the 'Habitat Ángeles' operation, developed by the Organized Crime Group of the Organic Unit of the Judicial Police of the Madrid Command.

The dismantled group was made up of two people of Albanian origin who, after carrying out a detailed study of the area, accessed the homes after avoiding the perimeter fence, generally entering from the upper floor which they accessed by climbing.

If residents were found inside the home, they previously made sure that they were on the ground floors, acting with stealth and carrying out the robbery without being detected.

These two people were very voracious when it came to perpetrating robberies. Once they had chosen the area, they committed at least three robberies in different homes.

At dusk, they would go to the selected place and there in a few minutes they would get small and easily transportable objects, opting mainly for money, jewelry, watches and electronic or computer equipment.

The detainees are related to the responsibility of thirty robberies in homes located in Torrelodones, Boadilla del Monte, Las Rozas de Madrid, Arroyomolinos, Griñón and Pozuelo de Alarcón.

Given the high level of criminal activity of the group, an entry and search was carried out in the home they had in Getafe, where a large quantity of jewelry, watches, computer and electronic equipment and tools used to force and violate the closures were seized, as well as , of a vehicle with which they traveled to commit the robberies.

The two detainees are 26 and 29 years old, have no previous records in Spain and were planning to leave our country once the two-month robbery campaign had ended.
