The National Police have arrested two people in relation to the fires that started in the nightclubs in the Las Atalayas leisure area, in the capital of Murcia, on October 1, in which 13 people died, as confirmed to Europa Press sources of the aforementioned body.
The arrests were made between this Thursday and Friday and the investigation remains open, so more arrests are not ruled out, according to the National Police.
The lawyer of La Fonda Milagros, Francisco Javier Adán, explained, in statements to Europa Press, that the owner and manager of said establishment "has been summoned as an investigator to give a statement, but he has never been arrested or deprived of liberty." ".
According to the lawyer, "he came, voluntarily, to testify this Friday and has responded to everything they asked him, collaborating with the Police." "By police protocol, all those investigated have to take a police report, which are photos and fingerprints," he said.
