The Catalan Traffic Service (SCT) foresees an Easter operation complicated by the storm and recommends avoiding driving this Sunday afternoon.
"We ask that you avoid driving this afternoon due to the unfavorable weather conditions," said the director of the SCT, Ramon Lamiel, on RAC1.

Some 590,000 vehicles are scheduled to return to the Barcelona metropolitan area in the next 48 hours, with the greatest concern on the AP-7, both in the northern section and in the southern section.
"The peak that we have planned for today, Sunday, is between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. We had thought about installing the additional lanes starting at five in the afternoon, but that won't be possible," lamented the director of the SCT, who recalled that The only alternative road is the C-32, free in the northern section and tolled in the south.
