Torbe will intervene in the trial electronically and seeks to reduce his 7-year sentence requested by the Prosecutor

A Madrid court begins this Monday the trial of porn film producer Ignacio Allende, Torbe, who will intervene electronically, predictably, to recognize the facts and thus benefit from a substantial reduction in the sentence of more than 7 years requested by the Public Ministry, although this point will have to be confirmed at the hearing.

The Criminal Court number 27 of Madrid has scheduled for this Monday the trial of Torbe and two other people for distribution and possession of child pornography, for two criminal acts, one that occurred in 2012 and the other in 2015. In both cases Torbe He is accused of recording pornographic images with minors, saving them and then disseminating them.

Legal sources have told Efe that, after reaching an agreement with the Prosecutor's Office, it is expected that Torbe and the accused Francisco José M.L. recognize the facts and that the Prosecutor's Office considerably reduce its request for a sentence for each one. Thus the trial would continue only for the third defendant.

In the case of the porn producer, the sentence would go from seven years and seven months to another for which he would not go to prison, according to the sources, who detail that despite the possible agreements between the accused and the Prosecutor's Office they are not made official until start of the trial and until that moment everything can change.

Looking ahead to the trial, the Prosecutor's Office requested in its provisional conclusions seven years and seven months in prison for Ignacio Allende for possession and distribution of child pornography, three for José Carlos P.R. for distribution and one for Francisco José M.L. for possession.

The popular accusation, brought by the lawyer Manuel Merino Maestre on behalf of the National Association of People Affected by the Internet and New Technologies (Anfitec), requests eight years in prison for Torbe and two years for Francisco José M.L.

The trial will be held when more than ten years have passed since the first events investigated and eight since the second, and after it was suspended on July 10 so that the parties could try to reach an agreement or at least reformulate and shorten the proceedings. planned sessions.

After two meetings, the Prosecutor's Office and two of the accused - Torbe and Francisco José M.L. - considered an agreement by which both would acknowledge the facts and their sentences would be reduced, so that Torbe would not go to prison.

Furthermore, both would not have to go to court in person but would intervene by videoconference to ratify the agreement, according to the popular accusation, which requested - without success - that they not be allowed to intervene from their homes due to the seriousness of the crimes.

This judicial case has "deflated" with respect to the initial accusation of April 2016, when Torbe was arrested and placed in preventive detention for the crimes of pornography, human trafficking, money laundering and crimes against the Public Treasury.

Six months later he was released from prison after paying 100,000 euros in bail, and after four years of investigation the judge decided to put him on the bench for distribution and possession of child pornography and revealing secrets. He also ordered the trial of José Carlos P.R. and Francisco José M.L. for the first.

The actor is accused of recording pornographic videos with a young woman in 2012 and, upon finishing and knowing that she was a minor, saving them to publish them when she turned 18; and in 2015 he was accused of having recorded sexual images with a minor that he did not want to be disseminated, despite which he sent them to several people.

Among these images is one that went viral, and that Torbe allegedly sent to several Athletic Bilbao players, in which the minor lifted the shirt of this soccer team and said "Aúpa Athletic."

The accused Francisco José M. L. is accused of possessing pornographic images of the minor, after asking Torbe for them on several occasions, and José Carlos P. R. is accused of having distributed those images to Francisco José.
