Three civil guards suspended for being "willing to shed blood" for Spain

The Ministry of the Interior has provisionally suspended from employment and salary three civil guards against whom a file has been opened for very serious misconduct for their comments in recent days against the agreement between the PSOE and Junts and the negotiation of the future law of amnesty.

The director of the Civil Guard, Leonardo Marcos, formally informed the three agents this Monday of the opening of these disciplinary files that entails while the precautionary suspension of their functions is resolved.

Two of the agents charged are the president and vice president of the Pro Civil Guard Association (Aprogc) for the statement sent last Friday in which they were "willing to shed every last drop" of their blood in defense of the sovereignty of Spain. and the Constitution.

In the statement in which APROGC indicates its discomfort with the agreement between PSOE and Junts, which contemplates the amnesty for the crimes of the "procés", the civil guards highlighted that article 104 of the Constitution entrusts the security forces and bodies with the mission to protect the free exercise of public rights and freedoms and guarantee citizen security.

The third agent charged is Agustín Leal, the spokesman for Jucil, the majority association within the body, for a message he published on October 29 on the social network X, in which he accused the acting president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, of of committing "the greatest crime" for his plan to amnesty the prosecuted Catalan independence leaders.
