The two arrested for the crime of a young man in the Sevillian neighborhood of Santa Clara go to prison

Provisional prison, community and no bail for the two detained in relation to the stabbing death of a young man last Sunday in the Sevillian neighborhood of Santa Clara. This has been determined by the Investigative Court number 13 of the capital of Seville, whose judge has adopted this decision at the request of the Prosecutor's Office and the private prosecution. Those arrested, both 18 years old, are accused of allegedly committing a crime of homicide, according to judicial sources.

Let us remember that it was early on Sunday, March 3, when the first calls were made to the Emergency Department to alert about the event. A young man lay on the ground with stab wounds next to an electric scooter and between several cars. That same night, one of the supposedly involved surrendered at the headquarters of the State security forces and bodies, since the second of them was arrested a few hours later.

It is still unknown exactly what could have happened in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday that had this fatal outcome, although some witnesses indicated that a fight had broken out near the Polígono Calonge nightclub that would have ended with the stabbing of this young man. . Apparently, the victim's body had several stab wounds although the autopsy report has not yet been released, a study that will be undertaken by the Institute of Legal Medicine of Seville.

It was a young man who called the police after a confrontation between two groups of young people, including the victim, became heated. Before the security personnel arrived, the victim was stabbed, which ended his life, despite the attempts of health professionals to resuscitate the stabbed young man.

The deceased's name was Reda, he was 21 years old, he judged football at the Club Atlético Libertad in Mairena del Aljarafe and his mother regretted having lost him without "a hug, a kiss" or some farewell gesture.

According to the Delegate of the central Government in Andalusia, Pedro Fernández, the attack that resulted in the death of this young man could have resulted from "a previous argument" in a nearby nightclub.

Also for this Wednesday, in more detail at 7:00 p.m., the Las Praderas neighborhood association and the Santa Clara Neighborhood Platform have called a rally next to the Nuevo Continente urbanization, in rejection of crime and "in protest of the insecurity in the area." ".
