I have captured this photograph for La Vanguardia Readers' Photos from a small cove located in Lloret de Mar, Cala dels Frares.
This cozy cove of natural rocks offers us a beautiful image at this time of year, because in the month of December from this point you can see the sunrise right in front of the coast.
You can see in the image the detail of the sun's rays projecting towards the coast, between the rocks that stand like totems of the Costa Brava.
Cala dels Frares is located at the foot of a small cliff. To get there you have to take the coastal path from Lloret beach.
It is delimited to the west by the point of Es Calafats, which separates it from Sa Caleta beach. Very close to the point there are some reefs that receive the revealing name of Rompetimones.
