The new Spotify Camp Nou will have a memorial for the culés

Barça has presented a new project included in the remodeling of the Spotify Camp Nou, the epicenter of Espai Barça, which consists of the creation of a cinerary memorial for all those culés who wish for their mortal remains to rest in the temple of Barcelona fans. Just a few meters from the grass and in a space full of symbolism, fans will be able to forever link their passion for the club, for its colors and for all the moments lived celebrating the achievements that are part of Barça's history.

Under the name Memorial FC Barcelona, the club, together with Eternal Sports Memorial, has designed a unique comprehensive project aimed at paying tribute to the fans. The space will not only be destined to house the ashes of the most culé people, but it will also have 180 square meters available to place an exclusive and limited edition of 9,000 commemorative plaques for all those fans who, in life, want to have their name along with the great stars and personalities of the club and who will also be part of one of the most solemn areas that the future Spotify Camp Nou will have.

With a capacity for 26,600 columbaria, in the stadium and in a privileged space, the funeral urns will be hidden behind large murals that will illustrate historical moments of the almost 125 years of the club's life, showing some of the most legendary successes. In addition, there will also be a common space to store ashes.

The future Spotify Camp Nou, which has the necessary permits to incorporate a funeral space in its design, will show the pride of belonging of each member, male or female fan. Thus, the club makes one of its purposes a reality in the development of the remodeling of the new Barça home, which is to include in its sentimental journey through the history of the Club one of its main protagonists, its unconditional fans.

As reported by the club, the columbarium will be an open space, full of warmth, thanks to its materials and textures, and will be distributed based on four elements. Four illuminated cubes simulating skylights and where the light they contain inside is an allegory to the continuity of life and this connection with the Barça temple, thus maintaining the emotional link between the fans and the club, becoming a commemorative area that allows the culé feeling to be perpetrated. In the case of commemorative plaques, these will be placed on a glass wall, backlit with LED lights.

Regarding their marketing, the prices of the columbariums range between 250 and 6,000 euros, depending on the term of the transfer, and in the case of the Ara Comunitaria, the price is 1,500 euros. For their part, the commemorative plaques will cost 300 euros.

All members will have early access, and starting today, October 31, whoever is interested will have two weeks of preference over the rest of the public to be able to purchase the space they want. In this sense, the Club and Eternal Sports Memorial have set up a website with all the information.
