The mysterious death of South Korean singer Park Bo Ram at age 30 is being investigated

South Korean singer Park Bo Ram died on April 11 at the age of 30. The artist's body was found lifeless in the home of one of her friends, whom she had arranged to meet with another acquaintance on the night of her death.

The local police have opened an investigation to clarify the causes of the death of the South Korean singer. At the moment, the police report presented at the Namyangju police station, Gyeonggi (South Korea), reveals that the artist had gone to the bathroom shortly before ten at night, claiming that she was feeling unwell.

When she did not return, one of her friends went to check on her, and found her unconscious on the sink, which led to the emergency services being quickly alerted. The artist was later transferred to Guri Hanyang University Hospital, where she would be declared dead at 11:17 p.m. local time.

At the moment, the causes of the singer's death are unknown. The police have assured that the investigation will remain open, and have already requested an autopsy from the National Forensic Service.

The artist's representation agency, XANADU Entertainment, informed the singer's followers of the tragic news of her death through an announcement on their social networks.

"Park Bo Ram left us suddenly late in the afternoon of April 11. Our hearts are deeply troubled as we deliver this sudden news to his fans. A wake and funeral will be scheduled, following a discussion with the singer's family "says the statement.

The artist was well known in her native country, where she rose to fame in 2010, after participating in the well-known Mnet talent contest SuperStar K2. Park was one of her favorite candidates, thanks to her exceptional voice and charisma on stage.

Some qualities that the singer knew how to exploit over the years and that led her to release several albums with such renowned hits as Beautiful, Celepretty  or I Hope with the popular singer Huh Gak; She also recorded songs for some of the most famous television productions of recent times, such as the fictional series Reply 1988.

Her representation agency also confirmed that the artist was preparing a new album to commemorate the tenth anniversary of her debut and that she would release it in the coming months.
