The Madrid City Council prohibits the celebration of the Reggaeton Beach Festival

The Madrid City Council has insisted that the Reggaeton Beach Festival "is not going to take place" in the Iberdrola Music space in Villaverde (the area where MadCool and the Harry Styles concert were held, in which there was strong criticism for the problems to leave the attendees) and sees "difficult" that between today and tomorrow they find another location that receives the pertinent permits and files.

Some 50,000 people from all corners of Spain were expected to attend this event.

The spokesperson for the municipal government, deputy mayor and delegate for Security and Emergencies, Inmaculada Sanz, has reported at a press conference that the mobility report presented by the promoters yesterday Wednesday was "incomplete". "And I see it difficult that between now and tomorrow they will find another location that receives the permits and files," Sanz highlighted after the Governing Board.

The delegate has exposed that any massive event causes discomfort or difficulties among the nearby neighborhood, as happened with the Harry Styles concert last week, but in the case of the reggaeton festival there is "a different situation", with "unfavorable reports", not in the case of Styles, and negative communication from the State Security Forces and Bodies.

Yesterday, Tuesday, the City Council of the capital already defended that it was not going to be held, but the organizer insisted throughout this Wednesday morning that it was going to meet the requirements demanded by the Consistory, despite the Cibeles guidelines.
