The Valencia Civil Guard is investigating an allegedly homophobic mass attack that occurred in the town of Alginet during the night from Friday to Saturday in which two people were injured, one of them a 19-year-old member of the LGTBI collective.
Although the Provincial Command for the moment "has not found sufficient elements to consider that the attack could be a hate crime related to the sexual orientation of one of the victims, however, this possibility is also being investigated," the body details. it's a statement.
The attack has been denounced as "LGTBIphobic" on social networks by the LGTBI secretary of the PSPV-PSOE, Damian López, who publishes the images of the injuries suffered by this young man along with the message "with so much hate speech and far-right pacts , the Valencian Community seems to be unpunished and in a few days they have gone hunting for our people".
