The first lady of the United States, Jill Biden, will meet this Monday in Madrid with Queen Letizia and with Begoña Gómez, the wife of the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez.

Jill Biden will arrive at the base in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid) this Sunday at 10:00 p.m., two days before her husband, the president of the United States, Joe Biden, does so to participate in the NATO summit being held in Madrid on June 29 and 30.

The American first lady's schedule in Spain will begin this Monday, June 27, at 11:00 a.m. with a meeting with Queen Letizia at the Palacio de la Zarzuela, after which both will go to the headquarters of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in Madrid.

After that, Jill Biden will meet with Begoña Gómez, wife of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, at the Palacio de la Moncloa, as reported by the Office of the First Lady of the United States.

Already on Tuesday, June 28, the wife of Joe Biden will visit, together with Queen Letizia, a reception center for Ukrainian refugees in the Madrid town of Pozuelo de Alarcón, one of the four enabled to attend the arrival of those fleeing from the invasion Russian from Ukraine, where they will hold a meeting with families.

In the evening, together with Joe Biden, he will attend a dinner for heads of state and government and leaders of international organizations invited to the official program of the NATO summit, sponsored by King Felipe and Queen Letizia.

Also, on Wednesday, June 29, the US first lady will attend part of the program for the spouses of the leaders participating in the NATO summit in Madrid.

That same day, in the afternoon, his visit to Spain will end, since he will depart from the Torrejón air base in the direction of the Andrews Air Base and then return to the White House.
