The 'Dune' aesthetic becomes fashionable

Cinema and fashion usually make a good tandem. Every now and then a movie appears that leaves its mark on the way people dress. She spent it with Grease, before with Breakfast at Tiffany's and Love Story, with Flashdance, Pretty Woman and Annie Hall; also with Mamma Mia! and Sex and the City. All of them gave style lessons that were taken to the streets by the most fahionistas.

Dune: Part Two was released two weeks ago and its aesthetics are already marking the looks of many celebrities. Monochromatic outfits betting mainly on green and earth tones; monkeys; long coats; hoods and scarves or XL bandanas; military boots; biker jackets; leathers; chains; metallic decorations…

The success of this aesthetic has contributed to the great styles that the actors and actresses of the film have walked along the red carpets during the film's promotion. The cast says it all: Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler and Anya Taylor-Joy.

In addition to the costumes from the film itself, all of them have played with that futuristic-inspired aesthetic with nods to pieces from the past during the promotional tour and when attending the premieres. Between them, the two main characters of the film, Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet, are also two of the coolest and most stylish stars of the moment.

The Euphoria interpreter hits the mark with each of the outfits she wears. One of the last, jeans with a metallic corset that she combined with large pieces of silver jewelry: a choker, bracelets and a medallion belt. The outfit was rescued from Jean Paul Gaultier's Haute Couture collection for spring summer 2020.

Among the celebrities who have joined this Dune aesthetic, the Italian influencer Chiara Ferragni stands out, always very aware of the latest trends, who has walked around with an outfit in earth tones with a jacket and biker-style boots; actress Ester Expósito, who appeared at the presentation of the new series Bandidos in Mexico City wearing a two-piece denim jacket with zippers; Tilda Swinton and her androgynous style, which matches very well with the mark that Dune is leaving; and even Aitana has dared to wear the chains in one of her last appearances.
