A scooter driver died this afternoon in a traffic accident when she was hit by a car on the C-352 road near Canovelles (Barcelona), which caused the victim to be thrown from her vehicle and fell from a bridge.
As reported this afternoon by the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT), the Mossos d'Esquadra have received a warning at 4:44 p.m. for a fatal accident at kilometer 25.1 of the C-352 highway.
The Mossos are investigating the causes for which the tourism has run over the scooter in which the victim was circulating, who as a consequence of the collision has fallen from a bridge and has died.
Three Catalan police patrols, three units of the Generalitat Fire Brigade and two units of the Emergency Medical System (SEM) have traveled to the scene of the accident.
With this new victim, there are already 96 people who have died this year in traffic accidents on the interurban road network in Catalonia.
